Vahan Vehicle Registrations - India
Vahan provides vehicle registration data at a daily resolution for each State. Vehicle registrations are reported by fuel/powertrain type, maker, emissions norm, vehicle category, and vehicle class.
Overview
Data provided here includes (i) raw data files, and (ii) data by fuel/powertrain type, emissions norm, vehicle category and vehicle class, aggregated to the national level at annual (Calendar year) resolution.
Fuel/powertrain type categories are: Diesel, Petrol, Electric (Bov), Petrol/Hybrid, Petrol/Ethanol, Strong Hybrid EV, Petrol/Cng, Cng Only, Pure EV, Petrol/Lpg, Diesel/Hybrid, Lpg Only, Ethanol, Lng, Methanol, Dual Diesel/Bio Cng, Dual Diesel/Cng, Solar, Dual Diesel/Lng, Fuel Cell Hydrogen, Plug-In Hybrid EV, and Not Applicable
Vehicle categories are: Heavy Goods Vehicle, Light Goods Vehicle, Light Motor Vehicle, Light Passenger Vehicle, Other Than Mentioned Above, Two Wheeler(Nt), Medium Goods Vehicle, Three Wheeler(T), Heavy Passenger Vehicle, Medium Motor Vehicle, Medium Passenger Vehicle, Three Wheeler(Nt), Heavy Motor Vehicle, Two Wheeler(T), Two Wheeler (Invalid Carriage), Four Wheeler (Invalid Carriage)
